I believe disrupting generations of trauma can lead to deep healing and enduring resilience.

I believe that connection is healing and that as human beings we are wired for it. I believe that in understanding our relationship to ourselves and the people and world around us, we can better identify repetitive, instinctive patterns and how they do or do not support what we want and where we are going. I am especially interested in working with relationships—past relationships, present relationships, your relationship with yourself, and even your relationship with me. I believe that how we relate to our internal life and our environment has a deep impact on how we feel and function, and getting to know these parts of ourselves more clearly is what leads to lasting change.

About Me

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in Albany, California where I am in independent practice. I offer weekly, long-term, depth therapy for young adults, adults, and couples (e.g. romantic and non-romantic dyads). I received my Masters in Counseling Psychology from the Wright Institute and completed my initial traineeship at Richmond Area Multi-Services, Inc. (RAMS) through the San Francisco Wellness Initiative supporting adolescents at Mission High School, where I stayed on for an additional year. I went on to a two-year Post-graduate Training Program at The Psychotherapy Institute where I received training in psychodynamic and socio-culturally informed modalities for working with adults. I currently am a professional member of CAMFT, The Psychotherapy Institute, PINC, and NCSPP, and continue to actively educate myself. In addition to my psychotherapy practice, I enjoy theater, improvisational comedy, and being outdoors. I look forward to getting to know each other further.

I offer a complimentary 15-minute phone consultation so that we can get a feel for what it might be like to work together. You can go to the Schedule a Session tab to get started.
